We're a well-knit digital design studio working with products, brands and (ai-)code. Top founders come to us because we get early-stage like no one else. We help them define, build and scale future unicorns. That means we think beyond pretty posts (though a criminally good carousel still hits). Fair warning: this is not a place to coast. The pace is set by founders who move fast, and we like it that way.
We're looking for an independent Marketing Specialist for a long-term B2B cooperation: someone hyped to build 0→1. You organise your own time and place of work and deliver the agreed results your way. Nobody here is breathing down your neck about what, when or how you do it. See a better route to the goal? Take it and take the cred.
The cooperation is non-exclusive: you're free to work with other clients, as long as it doesn't create an actual conflict of interest or breach confidentiality. Each project (scope, timeline, remuneration) is agreed separately, and taking one on is always your call.
Sounds like your kind of collaboration? Apply below.
What You’ll Do
Great people join tonik because they've seen what we do. Great founders hire us for the same reason. Your job is to make sure the right people keep seeing it: senior talent in Poland and US founders who already know our name. This is a brand and community role, not a lead generation one. You'll own how tonik shows up: on socials, at our events and in the communities around us.
- Taking over tonik's social channels (LinkedIn, X, Instagram) and running them end-to-end: content plan, writing, publishing, results
- Growing our presence on X and LinkedIn among US founders and investors – the people who've heard of us and need a reminder at the right moment
- Owning our events in Poland (3-5 per year) – tonik Design Academy (TDA), tonik Design Meetup (TDM) and whatever we come up with next: from concept and promotion to the event itself, and growing the community that forms around them – the Polish design and tech scene
- Supporting our founder-facing events abroad, like our Tech Week event in SF
- Turning our work into stories: case studies, client wins, behind-the-scenes and team voices, together with our designers and leadership
- Making tonik the place top talent wants to work with
- Setting goals and tracking what works – reach, engagement, community growth, event turnout, applications from top talent – then doubling down on it and killing the rest
- Experimenting with new formats, channels and AI-powered content workflows
- Working hand in hand with our CEO and taking whole areas off her plate, not just tasks
It’s a match if you’re like this
- 3+ years in B2B marketing, social media or community – ideally at a tech company, agency or startup
- Channels or communities you've grown yourself, with numbers to show for it
- You know how founders and tech people talk on X and LinkedIn – and you speak the language
- Sharp writing in English (C1+): short, specific, zero corporate fluff
- Hands-on creating and shipping: content, case studies, newsletter, X and LinkedIn. You're the one publishing, not briefing someone else to publish
- A data-minded approach: you set goals and check them, not just post and hope
- Experience organizing events – meetups, workshops or conferences – not just promoting them
- You know how to oversee a group of subcontractors: brief them well, keep the budget in check and make sure everyone gets paid on time (yes, invoices included)
- AI is your sidekick, not a buzzword. You use it daily to write faster and whip up graphics – without ever sounding like a robot
- Taste. You'll be marketing a design studio – you know the difference between good and great
- Independence: give you a direction and you run with it
- Vibe compatible with a high-performance, low-ego and drama-free culture
- Bonus points if LinkedIn Campaign Manager (or any other ad panel) doesn't make you flinch, you know your way around the US startup scene, you've done employer branding, run growth experiments (newsletters, launches) or feel at home in Figma
What the cooperation includes
- A world-class bench around you: high-agency, senior, low-ego. We set the bar high, raise it often, and pull you up with it
- Founders from the Valley's top rosters: a16z Speedrun, YC, HF0 and more. We've partnered with 200+ of them
- AI-native delivery, not pixel pushing. The studio runs on it, and how you use it can shape how we all do
- A direct line to founders. Strong ideas go from concept to shipped in days, the decision loop is that short
- Trips to SF when the project calls for it. You get the epicenter up close
- Top-tier AI tooling (whatever's winning right now) and every access the project needs
- EU-timezone cooperation, overlap only where the project genuinely needs it
- Optional invites to dinners, retreats and nights out. Come if you feel like it
The process
1. You first
Hit that big Apply button and tell us about yourself.
2. Vibe check
Let's jump on a call, so we can both figure out whether it's a fit.
3. Show off
You’ll get a task so we can see your magic in practice.
4. Seal the deal
One last call to talk details (e.g. the scope and model of cooperation, remuneration, expected availability) and that's it!
